Candidate profile
This program is the right choice for candidates that aim to master object-oriented technology, either for industry or for education purposes. Candidates will receive a degree of Master of Science (MSc) issued by the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (Belgium) and a certificate of specialized studies from the Ecole des Mines de Nantes upon successful completion of their master program.
In order to achieve such qualification candidates must have one of the following degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent degree from a recognized university or engineering college, according to their country:
- Licenciatura in Argentina, Portugal, Brazil ...
- Maitrise or an equivalent level in an engineering school in France,
- Licentiaat in Belgium,
- B. Sc. of Computer Science, ...
Candidates must also have:
- A solid background in mathematics and foundations of computer science,
- A fair knowledge of object-oriented technology and software engineering,
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Selection Procedure
A jury consisting of professors from the partner institutions will select the students, based on the following criteria (see the application form for a complete list of documents):
- The C.V. of the candidate,
- The candidate's previous grades and degrees,
- Language Certificate(s) or other Proof of Proficiency, (a minimum level corresponding to a TOEFL IBT score of 80 is required),
- 2 reference letters,
- Copy of the passport
- A recent photo
- Publication list and Patents if research experience
- A short essay written by the candidate to motivate his/her candidacy.
- Electronic/scan version of the documents.
