ME3 participation costs and Cost of Living

The total amount of the participation costs varies according to your nationality and your university of origin, as follows:

  • 18,000€ for non-EU students
  • 16,000€ for EU students
  • 12,000€ for EU students coming from core partners institutions (BME, IMT Atlantique, KTH, UPM)

    • The ME3 programme participation cost is 9000 euros per year (i.e., 18000 euros for the two-year programme).

    The ME3 consortium automatically allocate a participation cost waiver of 4500 euros per year for Erasmus + programme country scholarship holders (i.e., 9000 euros for the two-year programme).

    The ME3 programme participation costs cover the health insurance for 2 years, the participation of lecturers from overseas, examination and administrative services provided by each academic institution. No living expenses or course literature, travels or accommodation are included.

    It is difficult to provide an exact figure for the costs of living in Madrid, Nantes, Stockholm and Budapest, given that lifestyles vary from one person to another. The living costs given here are meant to give a general idea of the monthly living costs incurred during the ME3 programme. For the internship period during the 4th semester, financial compensation can usually be obtained.
